1.The proposed conservatory, by reason of the UPVc and polycarbonate sheeted roof structure, is considered to have an adverse and damaging impact upon the character and setting of the adjacent Grade II listed building As such the proposal is contrary to Policy BE4 of the North York Moors Local Plan which states that development which would have an unacceptable effect on the setting of a listed building will be permitted.
