The proposed development by reason of its design, form, general appearance and works neccessary to create a safe access would result in an alien and unduly obtrusive form of development which would harm the character and appearance of this important gateway site into Fylingthorpe village. As such the proposal would be contrary to Local Plan Policies H2 and BE6.
