The local planning authority considers the proposed garage, by virtue of its design and location would have an unacceptable impact on the character of Beck Hole. As such the proposal would be contrary to Local Plan policies GP3 and F6, which seek to ensure that new development would not have an unaccaptable impact on the visual character of the locality.
