The Local Planning Authority do not consider that there is an overriding justification to warrant the demolition of the curtilage Listed wall and the retention of the retaining wall which has an unacceptable impact on both the historic fabric of the Listed farmstead and the setting of the Listed farmhouse and as such the proposal conflicts with Local Plan Policy BE2.
