The erection of a front extension by virtue of its prominent position would be an unduly obtrusive feature in the streetscene and would undermine the general uniformity of the streetscape and overall symetry character and appearance of the host building and its setting. As such, the development would conflict with Local Plan Policies H8 and GP3 which seek to ensure extensions respect the appearance of the host building.
