The Local Planning Authority consider that the proposed satellite dish by virtue of its size and position would detract from the character of the Listed Building and therefore be contrary to Policy BE3 of the North York Moors Local Plan which seeks to resist development that has an unacceptable impact upon the historical or architectural character, setting and appearance of the Listed Building.
