The proposed camping barn by virtue of its siting, scale, design and materials would be detrimental to the character and appearance of this part of the National Park and would be contrary to the provisions of Policy TM4, (relating to chalet development), TM3 (relating to new self catering accommodation) and F5 (farm diversification) which seek to ensure chalet/tourist accommodation is located in an appropriate setting, is well designed and does not introduce a level of activity inappropriate to the locality.
