The proposed single storey extension to the south elevation of the recently converted and extended outbuilding is considered to be detrimental to the character and appearance of this Grade II Listed Building and its setting by virtue of the scale, form, design and general appearance of the extension which relates poorly to the existing development. This proposal would therefore be contrary to the provisions of the North York Moors Local Plan Policies BE3 and BE4.
