In the view of the Local Planning Authority, the proposed garage/workshop building and proposed stable building, by virtue of their size, bulk, position and materials, would have a significantly detrimental impact on the historic character and setting of the Listed Building. The proposal is therefore considered to be contrary to Policies H9 and BE4 of the Local Plan.
