The proposed extension immediately abuts the access to serve the allocated phases of Whitby Business park as contained in saved Policy E8 of the North York Moors Local Plan. The construction of this extension would prejudice the comprehensive development of this important employment estate and future access to the next phase of development at Whitby Business Park and is therefore contrary to saved Policy E8 of the North York Moors Local Plan.
