In the opinion of the Local Planning Authority the proposed advance directional sign, in relation to the "Langdale Quest" enterprise is considered to be excessively large, and visually obtrusive, having a detrimental impact on local amenties and the character of the area. The proposal is therefore considered to be contrary to Policies T12 and GP3 of the Local Plan.
