The proposed detached accommodation block would by virtue of its detached siting and position in relation to the main hotel would relate poorly to the form and layout of the settlement and Hotel and have an adverse impact on the character and appearance of this part of the National Park. The proposal is therefore considered to be contrary to Policy DP14 of the Local Development Framework.
