The proposed variation of condition 10 of approval NYM/2004/0396/FL would effectively create an open market dwelling with ancillary workspace for a period of six months. The applicant has not provided sufficient justification for the application. As such the proposal is considered to be contrary to Core Policy J of the NYM Local Development Framework which seeks to avoid the formation of open market dwellings in the countryside which do not meet the housing needs of the National Park.
